This time, we created shade!  Dogs had a lot more fun at the beach,
even braving a splash in the water.


After a day "swimming" at Lake Corpus Christi
(Nancy is a natural, Barbara was not sure how to do the doggie paddle.)

They love the grass and anything SOFT.... 

 

Barely moved in... and we have twins!
Even though there are boxes everywhere,
the girls have soft beds and safe crates
to rest and be out of the way.

Watch out for all the prickers in the grass!!!  They are SHARP. I would not want to bring a puppy here.

The morning brought many animal encounters.  First, I heard a sound like someone was trying to 

break into my car.  Yes, something was trying to break... my rear-view mirror.  I attempted to 

cover the mirror with a bag, but that didn't last long.  This bird was determined to attack.

Ok, so this is really the men's bathroom!  What were they thinking?

The women's bathroom is fully private, as a normal public bathroom should be.

This, we just don't understand.
